Cakes and Muffins
This is only one example of the Chocolate Walks I organize in Swiss cities like in Lausanne, and this one in Geneva.
I guide the tourists through the most interesting chocolatiers, explain their background and anecdotes. And of course show also the city if you wish so. And if we have time from tasting the latest creations of all these chocolate magicians.
During the last chocolate tour we saw among the other amazing places:
- Sweetzerland Chocolats
- St Peter’s Cathedral in the Old Town
- Ladurée’s new boutique
- Chocolaterie Du Rhone and its’ talented master Jean-Pascal Sérignat
Unique flavors of grand cru chocolates for Christmas. Orders until 19th December
The bottles you see above in photos are of genuine Finnish vodka, Koskenkorva, with liquorice and salty liquorice, lakritsi and salmiakki, as we say. You wonder, what to do with chocolate?!
Well, cakes of course, which you see after in photos, decorated with white chocolate. These were one of my specialities in this year’s Christmas markets.
Otherwise I’m preparing the chocolate orders to be ready for Santa Claus’s sack. And a Christmassy city tour to guide tourists in Geneva on their way to travel for skiing at Swiss Alps. What a fabulous time!
You ask, chocolate cake? For sure: under the sugar paste/marzipan cover you’ll find the white chocolate mousse and chocolate nibs cake, with blue- and strawberries. Decorated with lemon-mint leaves and marzipan figures.
And the candles this anniversary cake got were 9 and 0. Wahoo, 90 years of sweet and salty, full life!
So happy of this lovely order: two cakes for the confirmation celebration of my sweet goddaughter in Finland. For around 30 guests.
